An open invitation to the Alderley May Fair
We’ll start the celebration of our wonderful village at 5:15 on Friday May 20th with an evening of music and laughter, lovingly cooked street food and a little bit of drink.
Feel welcome to partake in five a side football or our junior fun run around the park and playing fields. Then relax with some food and be entertained with our music and entertainment stages. The sun will disappear, so bring a blanket or your thermals.
On Saturday May 21st we’ll start with a colourful parade through the village so let’s gather on London Road to cheer it though. On the park we’ll have live entertainment on our music stage and arena, artisan markets, food and drink throughout the afternoon, the adrenaline fairground, workshops and music for all generations in our tipi, plus the village dog show.
And don’t forget, as always The Alderley Edge May Fair is FREE to everyone!
The Attractions:
Fun Fair:
As well as the schedule below you will also find the yearly funfair has returned, with plenty of rides and attractions to keep everyone entertained. It starts on Friday at 5pm and will run until Saturday afternoon.
Food and Drink:
Prepared with love and cooked slow, there will be street food available so arrive hungry! Eat it sitting down with refreshments from Robinson’s Bar.
Allotment Open Day:
The allotments next door to the park to see what gardening is all about. There will also be a pop-up Shop selling bird boxes, crafts, fertiliser and sundries.
